This is something I just sort of randomly thought of as I was reading some blogs and going back over my own stories. Does anyone else realize the awesome power of words? And the thing is, the same words don't have the same power for everyone.
For instance, phrases such as "Sweetheart, baby, honey" are "normal" terms of endearment. And while I don't *mind* these phrases, I find so much more intimacy in the phrases "little girl" and "young lady". I absolutely meeeeeeeeeeelt at those words. Am I a total nutcase? Probably, but it's ok *grins*
So, for anyone who feels like answering, what names/words give you the warm fuzzies?

My Paddle's Here!
I ordered a paddle from the wonderful Spankinc (whose link is included in my links section). The hairbrush sized wooden one and I must say it's beaaaautiful...if I can find my digital camera, I'll post a pic, lol. Of course, being the insatiable spanko that I am, I just had to give myself a couple of light whacks with it when it came.
MAN does that thing STING! I was barely trying and I felt the burn for a few good minutes afterwards, after just 2 or 3 swats with it. D had some initial concerns that I wouldn't really "feel" this spanking since he's never disciplined anyone before. Let me tell you, I'm thankful that we've agreed to take it slowly! I've got about 195 swats coming for various offenses, I'm pretty sure I'm gonna FEEL it!!
But I love my new paddle and I can't wait for my spanking!

DAMMIT!
Dammit, dammit, dammit!
Today is just a crappy day! The equipment at my job is from like, the 1970's or something. It took me an hour and a half to do 20 minutes worth of work today! What the HECK!? The tech support people say it's our modem, my computer lady says it's their software. I don't care what the freaking problem is, JUST FIX IT!!!
And now one of my friends is pissed off at me cuz I yelled at him about fighting with another friend. Friend B has been really depressed lately and I thought Friend A was just making it worse, so I told him to back off. But now I feel all guilty because he's like "You didn't even ask for my side, I'm trying to help her too". *screaaaaaams*
I need a freaking spanking. Labor Day Weekend cannot get here soon enough. UGH.
